Ghostly greetings to all you Halloween-loving ghouls and goblins out there! Boy, have we got a scare-tastic lineup of activities for you this year. Bishop Walsh Spartan Theatre is closing out the spooky season with a “Not So Spooky” Ghost Tour of downtown Frostburg on Oct. 19th and again on Oct. 26th from 7:30-8:45pm. This sold-out event is free, but donations will be welcome as this is a fundraiser for their spring musical. Thank you to the Spartan Theatre and Ty DeMartino for creating this incredible collaboration on a walking tour of our (possibly) haunted city.

Lashbaugh’s West will be hosting their ghoulishly fun costume party, with live music by 3rd Avenue on Oct. 28th from 9:00pm-midnight. The kitchen will be open for orders until 11:00pm and prizes for best costumes will be awarded at midnight.

After a fun filled evening full of boo-tastic food and live music, bring the kids out for some trunk or treat fun at FSU on Oct. 29th from 5:30-7:00pm in the Pullen parking lot.

Swing by The Deep End for Megan Jean’s Halloween Party at Deep End! The evening kicks off with Byrne String Band, and then the Secret Family takes the stage! Make sure you’re wearing your best and take part in the costume party.

Rounding out the hair-raising fun holiday, Frostburg’s annual Halloween Parade will be on Oct. 30th beginning at 6:00pm on Main Street, immediately followed by City Place’s annual Halloween party for children 12 and under. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Also, if you’d like to participate in the parade you can sign up here.

With so many great activities to choose from this season, the only thing left to say is we “witch” you a happy Halloween and party responsibly folks. Now, go forth to eat, drink, and be scary.

After meeting our resident ghosts, stop by Hotel Gunter for a Halloween costume party featuring live music by Velveeta on Oct. 28th from 8:00-11:00pm. Costume prizes will be awarded so unleash that creativity and make it spooktacular. You must be 21 to attend. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at Hotel Gunter with cash only.
