Event Details

On Saturday, September 21, the free daytime event takes place from 10 to 6 on Frostburg State University’s Upper Quad. The festival celebrates all that is unique to the Appalachian region—its culture, history, music and dance, folk arts, storytelling, and more. With two music stages, presentation tents, and a large gathering of artisans, there’s something for everyone. Festivities culminate in the capstone concert in Frostburg’s Historic Palace Theatre at 7:30 featuring Grammy Award Winner and two-time Emmy Nominee Dom Flemons, co-founder of the Carolina Chocolate Drops.
