Class Title: Build a Robotic Hand
Instructor: Rebekah Taylor, FSU Department of Biology

Description: Build a robotic hand with Rebekah Taylor of the FSU Department of Biology! Use simple materials to recreate a hand that moves! Explore the hidden secrets that make our hands so amazing!


The Allegany Arts Council invites children ages 8 and older to STEAM: Where Art Meets Science, a seven-week workshop series with activities that blend the arts with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. These workshops are free to attend!

During these mini-courses, students will learn about sunprinting, video game programming, 3D printing, building robotics, and much more! Workshops are led by professors at Frostburg State University and local professional artists.

The STEAM: Where Art Meets Science workshop series is funded with generous support from the Frostburg State University Foundation and is provided by the Allegany Arts Council.
