This class will focus on the medicinal properties of trees commonly found in the Appalachian region, and will include identification and botanical terminology, applications for health and wellness, and discussion of making teas, infused oils and tinctures. The first part of class will take place in the shop, and then we will take a trip over to the arboretum on the campus of Frostburg State University to look at trees up close and personal. Carpooling is encouraged (I have room for 3 in my vehicle). Class is limited to 10 people, and will be repeated at another time if there is enough interest. Following CDC guidelines, If you have received your COVID vaccine you do not need to wear a mask inside the shop. Pre-registration is required and the fee for the class is $30, pay through the Square checkout link, or in person in the shop. Please message me to make sure there is still room before paying.
