FrostburgFirst welcomes you to join us for Downtown Frostburg’s biggest Shop Small Holiday of the year! This year’s city-wide Small Business Saturday promotion will take place on November 25, 2017. Our downtown businesses are excited to offer special one-day-only discounts, #ShopSmall freebies, and free raffle opportunities to win prizes. Free Small Business Saturday shopping guides with a listing of discounts and artist appearances will be available at City Place, 14 S. Water Street, and inside many downtown businesses.
In addition to the city-wide sales, the 2nd Annual Handmade Holiday Fair will be held in City Place from 11 AM – 4 PM. 13 local artists will display handmade items ranging from pottery, paintings, textiles, woodwork, and more. While at City Place, enjoy complimentary Lorenzo’s donut holes and hot cocoa, provided by FrostburgFirst as a thank you for shopping small. The first 100 shoppers to visit the information table will receive a free FrostburgFirst drawstring bag. FrostburgFirst will also be offering free bag check and gift wrap services at City Place.
Leading up to Small Business Saturday, FrostburgFirst is offering 20 chances to win a gift card to a downtown business. Every day until November 21, one tiny Shop Small bag will be hidden in a different downtown business. FrostburgFirst will post a hint of its location on Facebook and Instagram. From Thanksgiving until New Years, the City of Frostburg is pleased to offer free holiday parking on all city-owned streets and lots, including the newly-constructed lot behind St. Michael Catholic Church with over 60 parking spaces.
