Terms and Conditions for Participating in FrostburgFirst Vendor Events
“GOOD STANDING”
Vendor Events are one type of project designed to support Economic Development in pursuit of FrostburgFirst’s Mission. FrostburgFirst is a non-profit with limited funding and staffing, and Vendor Events are not a source of income generation for the organization. To keep the cost of Event Production to a minimum, all Vendors must abide by the following Terms and Conditions as approved by the FrostburgFirst Promotions Committee.
Vendors in “Good Standing” shall adhere to the following Terms and Conditions to remain eligible to participate in FrostburgFirst Vendor Events. Vendors who are not in Good Standing shall not be permitted to register for future events, until a time when more funding can be directed to Vendor Event Production.
SPACE
Vendors are only allotted a 10×10 or equivalent space
Vendors are responsible for own set up and tear down
Vendors must have proper weights for tents if placed outside
Vendors cannot bolt or otherwise permanently alter the space in which they set up
Vendors are liable for any and all damage incurred, whether by acts of nature or self
Vendors must acknowledge that location preferences will be factored in but can not be guaranteed
CUSTOMERS
Vendors are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of their vendor space
Vendors must leave their space as clean as they found it, or better!
Vendors may not resell 3rd party products
Vendors must know about and follow all state guidelines regarding production and labeling
Vendors must make contact information available to customers, whether by signage, business cards, or labels
Vendors must maintain hospitable relations with the business owners and residents who host downtown events
COMMUNICATIONS
Vendors must complete their application before the deadline to be included in any promotional efforts
Vendors are required to communicate any cancellations at minimum 24 hours before the event set up begins
Vendors must arrive on time for setup; failure to do so could result in losing one’s space to another vendor
Vendors must convey respect to other vendors and event participants during the event and on social media
Vendors must communicate in writing any emergencies or accommodations needed
Vendors may not leave event before it concludes unless agreed upon at the time of application
Vendors must share photographs, examples, or portfolios of their work before their applications will be reviewed, or approved
