Support your favorite downtown Frostburg businesses

throughout the winter season!

This Winter, Small Businesses Need Your Support More Than Ever!

It’s Shop Small Season in Downtown Frostburg!

First, we would like to remind residents there is a COVID Testing Site now serving Marylanders at the Allegany County Fairgrounds! Mondays from 2 PM to 7 PM and Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 AM to 2 PM, any resident can receive a test requiring NO appointments, Doctor’s orders, or out-of-pocket costs!

Throughout the winter season, Downtown Frostburg businesses will be celebrating #ShopSmall with specials, promotions, and everything you need to keep your spirits up! You can feel confident about doing your shopping in Frostburg. Masks and social distancing are required and Frostburg businesses take our community’s safety seriously. Not comfortable shopping in person? No worries! Many downtown Frostburg businesses have online purchasing, curbside pick-up, delivery, and gift cards available.

Shopping Small is the perfect opportunity to find great deals while benefiting your community. When you spend your dollars at a local business, you contribute to a stronger economic base and sense of community in Downtown Frostburg.

FrostburgFirst’s Pop-Up Frostburg Program is celebrating Shop Small Season by hosting a rotating pop-up retail shop through February 14, 2021. The Pop-Up Frostburg program brings together entrepreneurs, artists, makers, and small businesses with local property owners to activate vacant spaces in downtown Frostburg. The program is funded in part through the Main Street Improvement grant program through Maryland’s Department of Housing and Community Development and the M&T Bank Charitable Foundation. Check out the link below to see who’s hanging out at 13 E. Main Street!

Our county is currently experiencing a surge in COVID-19 cases. We still want you to enjoy all #DowntownFrostburg has to offer but be sure to follow the rules! Wear a mask, sanitize and wash hands, follow posted rules for capacity and traffic flow, keep a 6-foot distance from other people, ask businesses about curbside and online options, and, most of all, be kind and patient with one another. Thank you for keeping Frostburg a COVID-compliant and safe community to shop and dine.
