Greetings! I am Chase Buckwalter, the brand new intern for FrostburgFirst and a senior here at Frostburg State University. I am a parks and recreations major with a concentration in sport communications. I am an athlete here at FSU as I have been a member of the Men’s Lacrosse team for four years now. As the end to my collegiate sport career is near and the start of a new life begins. I am extremely excited to be a part of FrostburgFirst and getting to know the local businesses, events, etc. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my dog Sonic as well as with friends and family. Some of my hobbies are fishing, hunting, hiking, coaching, trying new opportunities while still enjoying the little things in life, and of course playing and watching sports. After graduation I plan on entering the sports communications field with any professional or semi professional sport league around the United States as my true passion is sports. I am very excited to see a different perspective interning here at FrostburgFirst!
