Creators in all mediums are invited to participate in annual city-wide celebration of local artistry

Frostburg, MD—FrostburgFirst invites artists, musicians, performers, and more to participate in the annual Frostburg Arts Walk, scheduled for Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 3 PM – 8 PM. Designed to be a self-guided walking arts tour, artists are partnered with downtown businesses to display and sell their works. Several outdoor artists mini-markets will also be set up around town, including the all-new Arts in the Alley market in Prichard Alley. The cost to participate is $25 for non-members and $10 for FrostburgFirst artist members. Artists willing to give demonstrations throughout the day and musical/theatrical performers will be offered a special registration rate.

In addition to the artist displays around town, Arts Walk will include two performing artist stages with a rotating line-up of musical and theatrical acts, kids craft stations around town, a free children’s book giveaway at the Frostburg Public Library from 3 – 5 PM, and “pop up performances” inside local businesses throughout the day.

Join over fifteen painters, photographers, metalworkers, jewelers, potters, and seamstresses who have already registered to participate. Spaces are limited and will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please submit applications by Friday, March 23, 2018 to ensure consideration.
