The City of Frostburg and FrostburgFirst welcomes LG’s Pizzeria and Pub to Downtown Frostburg! Owners Larry and Meagan Guthrie are trying something a little new in the area. After being in the restaurant and bar business for over 10 years, they feel that setting a modern and comfortable atmosphere is important. They have a passion for pizza, great food, beer, and mixology. In order to perfect their pizza recipe, Larry and Meagan traveled around trying hundreds of pizza places to create what they think is the ideal pizza. After almost 10 years of trial and error and countless recipe tweaks later, they have put together the pizza you will love! The dough is made fresh daily, the sauce is a blend of Italian plum tomatoes and fresh herbs chopped in-house, and perfect four cheese blends made from blocks of imported cheeses. LG’s will be offering eat-in, takeout, and delivery!
The Guthrie’s take pride in being their own bakery. All the bread, sub rolls and buns are baked fresh every day. Buffalo chicken dip, crab dip, and pizza dip will be served in homemade Italian bread bowls. LG’s is offering Pizzatizers, eight different 8” specialty pizzas which are great to share or if you just want to grab a beverage and a light snack. The bar will have weekly food and drink specials along with activities such as trivia, open mic night and more! A wide variety of drinks such as mules, mojitos, cosmos, frozen drinks, specialty martinis and more will be offered.
LG’s has a comfortable family-friendly tone. They installed 20 speakers allowing for a comfortable volume throughout the dining area. The open bar design provides a community setting where conversations and relationships with their patrons can be made. Eight large screens and their 130” projector screen will keep you up to date with your favorite sports.
On Friday, August 24, the Frostburg Mayor and City Council celebrated their opening with a Ribbon Cutting.
