The Goodfellow Agency was established in 1937 by the Goodfellow family. To keep the tradition of a family owned business alive, married couple Jim and Cindy Diamond purchased this business from previous owners, Michael and Lisa Goodfellow in 2014. Jim has been a part of this company for 25 years now, maintaining a strong presence ever since. Having been established for more than 80 years now, The Goodfellow Agency is the oldest real estate company of the Historic Highlands Association of Realtors.
“Both born and raised in Frostburg, we still have a large family presence residing in the area. Our families have owned and operated several businesses over the years in Frostburg. We feel that local businesses provide that personal touch that the ‘big box’ chain stores lack today,” said Jim. With a beaming smile, Cindy added, “All of our agents are practically family. Everyone who works here is treated like family and that’s definitely something we cherish.”
While their office is located in Downtown Frostburg, The Goodfellow Agency has agents licensed in both Maryland (MD) and Pennsylvania (PA). Their primary market areas include Maryland’s Allegany and Garrett County along with bordering counties in Pennsylvania. Appraisal service is also provided to Allegany and Garrett County, MD. The Diamond’s mission for The Goodfellow Agency is to provide their clients and customers with the highest standard of professional service in each real estate transaction that is possible.

In recent months, their team has sold 115 properties and currently have 53 properties for sale. My grandparents used the motto “Quality Makes The Difference” and this standard is still priority today. McFarland’s not only offers specialty chocolates, but hand dipped Hershey’s Ice Cream as well.
