To say that we’re looking forward to the Arts Walk would be an understatement, so in the meantime, we’ve been taking a look back at Arts Walks past! The 2020 Fall Arts Walk looked a little different due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but that didn’t stop us from celebrating the arts! We blended virtual and in-person activities, allowing Downtown Frostburg to take it all in in whatever way they felt most safe! We streamed musical performances, virtual galleries, and artist demonstrations! The 2016 Spring Arts Walk made big waves, more specifically: airwaves! FrostburgFirst took to Record Talk Listen, a podcast, to discuss the then-upcoming celebration! For this Arts Walk, 26 small, local businesses hosted one or more artist each to allow them to showcase their products and talents! Everything kicked off with a public art dedication in front of the Frostburg Public Library, celebrating the third addition in a series of three public art projects throughout our town!
The Arts Walk is a staple of Downtown Frostburg, and we look forward to bringing you another vibrant celebration of all that our small town has to offer.
