Hi Frostburg! My name is Piper Schenk, I am a senior here at Frostburg State University studying Mass Communications and Marketing. I am very excited to announce my internship at FrostburgFirst this spring semester! The courses I took at FSU solidified my passion for Mass Communications and Marketing. I have a great interest in Marketing, and everything that goes into it. I plan to gain experience learning more about the businesses here in Frostburg as well as everything that FrostburgFirst does for this community.
I grew up in Garrett County Maryland and have visited Frostburg many times before I decided to pursue my education here. I’ve called Frostburg my home for the last four years, and I’ve seen the city advance, while maintaining its character. One of my favorite businesses in Frostburg is the Princess Diner which is one of the first places I visited when I moved here and continue to visit to this day.
When I am not in school, you can find me with my friends and family, many of which inspired me to keep working to find something that I truly enjoy doing, Marketing. I have no doubt FrostburgFirst will help grow my passion and knowledge for Marketing as well as the city of Frostburg. FrostburgFirst will give me an opportunity to work in a professional environment, where I can perfect my Marketing skills. I am excited to contribute to this company, and the Frostburg community.
