FrostburgFirst’s Pop-Up Frostburg Program is proud to announce a full year of Pop-Up shops on Frostburg’s Main Street! The Pop-Up Frostburg program brings together entrepreneurs, artists, makers, and small businesses with local property owners to activate vacant spaces in downtown Frostburg. The program is funded in part through the Maryland Project Restore grant program and the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development Main Street Improvement grant program.
FrostburgFirst welcomes both Artwork by Carey and Jewlz Dyz to the new Pop-Up Frostburg space at 18 E. Main Street from February 12th to March 12th.
Carey Lancaster of Artwork by Carey creates paintings, drawings, handmade jewelry, resin and acrylic functional art pieces, and more. Carey puts her mark on hand-painted or poured furniture, purses, tumblers, and jewelry. In addition, she will be hosting themed paint nights throughout the month and is available for groups of 5 or more for private paint parties. To reserve a space, message @Artwork By Carey on Facebook.
Julia Elkins of Jewlz Dyz offers handcrafted tie-dyes in infant sizes to adults including dresses, shirts, onesies, socks, and more. Utilizing bright colors, and bleach dyes, as well a variety of fabric options, you can be sure to find one-of-a-kind pieces to reflect your style.
Artwork by Carey and Jewlz Dyz will be open varying hours Wednesday through Saturday at 18 E. Main Street. Alterations will be available by appointment only. Visit them on Facebook at “Artwork by Carey & Jewlz Dyz with Pop-Up Frostburg” for updated hours and events.
