Don’t forget your mask wherever you venture in Downtown Frostburg. Several small businesses are selling masks that can protect you while making you comfortable and matching your own style! Ladybug Boutique, Mountain City Traditional Arts, and Madison Paige Boutique are all selling fabric masks with an array of different designs,so check them all out during your next trip to Downtown! Just as a reminder, these are times when you should wear a mask:
- Picking up food, receiving delivery, or when you’re not at your table while dining out safely
- Using public transportation
- Shopping at retail, grocery, and specialty stores (any indoor businesses)
- Being outdoors when social distancing is not possible
Also, we would like to notify students and remind the local community that there is a COVID Testing Site now serving Marylanders at the Allegany County Fairgrounds! Mondays from 2 PM to 7 PM and Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 AM to 2 PM, any Maryland resident can receive a test requiring NO appointments, Doctor’s orders, or out-of-pocket costs! Students, this is a great way to acquire a test for school, work, sports, extracurriculars, or if you are showing symptoms!
Whatever stage of your college education journey that you are entering, we wish you luck and hope for your success! As we already mentioned, we welcome you back into our community with open arms as you start another huge challenge along your climb to the rest of your life!
