Wholesome Harvest Co-op Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting

Frostburg, MD— The City of Frostburg and FrostburgFirst welcomes Wholesome Harvest Co-op to downtown Frostburg! Wholesome Harvest Co-op, 30 W. Main Street, held their Grand Opening Celebration on Thursday, September 19, 2018. Wholesome Harvest Co-op is the first consumer cooperative incorporated in Western Maryland. The Co-op’s mission is to provide the community with high quality, healthy products, with a strong focus on locally-sourced foods and goods. Wholesome Harvest Co-op is jointly owned by over 100 Member-Owners, and they have plans to continue to grow the Member-Owner base. Member-Owners each receive an equally-weighted vote in the Co-op and enjoy other benefits, such as exclusive discounts and supporting local, small-scale agriculture. Membership is a one-time fee of $125, but there is no membership required to shop at the Co-op. Wholesome Harvest Co-op is open 11:00 am – 7:00 pm, Wednesday thru Sunday.
