Herbs 101: An Introduction to Medicinal Plants

Are you just starting to learn about using herbs and aren’t sure where to begin? This class will cover the basics of using plants for health and healing, including how to judge good quality herbs, how to use common weedy plants that grow all around us, an introduction to wildcrafting (gathering wild plants), and how to make herbal preparations including tea infusions, decoctions, tinctures, and infused oils. Fee is $35 and includes handouts and samples of products that will be made in class. Class size is limited to 10 participants.
