The Art of Blending Herbal Teas

Sometimes a hot cup of tea, whether it be a medicinal or beverage blend, can be the best medicine for reminding us to slow down and take care of ourselves. Take a break during the busy holiday season and learn about the flavors and effects of a variety of herbs that are nice for brewing into tea. Class includes a blind tea tasting, traditional teachings about the flavors of herbal medicines, and discussion of the energetics of the herbs and how that helps choose what goes into your blend. Participants will have the opportunity to make a beverage tea blend and a functional tea blend to take home. The fee is $35 and includes a handout and all supplies for making personalized blends.
